I wasnt there last night and have no idea what exactly happened but I will say that Wheel, Shock, Rain, Superman, JSN and I have all been in some fierce fighting for the lead in the last month and there has been serious contact where someone got wrecked in 1 of those races. For me personally this has probably been the most fun (at least the racing part) that I have had in any series. As an admin I keep getting the same handful of guys that drive way over their head. But I will say that a couple of times it was just a racing deal. And I have won 4 races in this series (all beating Wheel) by no more than 6" each time.
So we finish 18 and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice

Way to go on the win McGee!

actually, bud to be honest with u i got a bad start in the heat and remember going in 1 after 1st lap complete side by side with ya..felt like i had a good enough run on hi side, but may have come across ur nose getting into the turn. when we hit i knew it wasn't intentional and honestly felt bad 4 ya b/c i knew u got out of it and got wrecked...really a racing deal that worked out best 4 me sometimes it does sometimes not but u hang in there j bo and remember not 1 guy on here has NOT felt the same way u did last night when they were newer at this. i know i have and still do at times.

IMMA say FORWARD>>>>>>>>>>>>>! Even tho these things happen, they happen for a reason. What that reason is, right now, I don't know, But I am sure there is one in place!!! We are not going to find another game that is as fun as DTR2 is when everyone is respectfull and uses common sence. I have been wrecked lately, by someone who would never have wrecked me any other time, he begged me to take the spot, becasue he didn't want it like that. I knew in my heart that he did not mean to do it, ya it happened and it took me outta going to the A, but he offered and I denied, for 1. he didn't mean to, 2. I don't think of this as "just a game" when running league races or for money, I considder it, and I am sure 90% of DTR2 does too, I wanna kick some butt time, I WANNA WIN! 3. I understand that was his intentions also, so he was driving as hard as he could to make the show just like I was, so I look at that as a racing incident, and I, wanting this to NOT be a game, have to understand that if I lost my spot in a battle on my home track, then that's that, I lost my spot! 4. I lose all grudges 5 min after the race lol!!! So F1 just because 1 or 2 people don't EVER say sorry, don't let that ruin the game for ya,cause the other 98% will say sry EVERY time!!!

It's ok with me...I honestly was just driving like I had every other lap. I believe Wheel got knocked up the track at the beginning and was driving more aggressive than we all were to get to the front again. He didn't really get into me but he was definitely trying to get up there quickly even though McGee was done gone. If I knew or thought I had caused you to wreck I would have apologized, but after the replay I still don't think there was anything I could do once you started sliding down the track. I mean we had an awesome race in the B and never touched and the A Main was going the same way until the wreck. Sorry for hitting you a little late down the straightaway though, but I didn't even realize I did that in the feature until I watched the replay on the blimp view.

The "we were racing to hard" arguement 5 laps into a race is the most asinine thing ive ever heard in my life. What are ya'll supposed to do. Just tell everyone to line up single file and draft up to mcgee? Honestly, just stupid. These races are 40 laps and take 10 minutes to complete. You gotta get spots when you can, and thats usually gonna be early in the race cuz everyone is so close together still.

Did you get a bad start or was mine just really good? When I'm up front I time it pretty well and have the hammer down as soon as the flag flies. (probably the thing I'm best at in this game other than painting pretty cool skins) I knew I was starting next to you so I just wanted to floor it and get in front because I know I can't out-race you. If I could have cleared you, who knows what would have happened. Might have been a better race and I would have proved Bullit wrong. Kinda urks me he said he knew I would cause some damage and then did....oh well. I just need the practice at my favorite track.

that kind of thinking wont get you many wins there jim.thats the sole reason mcgee got so far ahead of us and he will tell u the same thing.being there fighting for the lead at the end of the race is what its all about.
EDIT:not at all saying mcgee wasnt fast enough to pull us last night but it is super hard to pull away from someone at terre when theyre on ya.

I had this conversation with Shock not to long ago...You cannot tell someone that they cant race you tough every lap once the green flag flies but alot of the time working together will get you alot farther up the track than trying to fight it out for 50 laps. Its frustrating when your trying to catch the leader and someone keeps poking their nose in moving you off your line but thats racing. Not everyone is looking at the big picture, all they can see is the car in front of them.

Now from the other night when you have several cars in a pack there isnt going to be much working together. I know at Lernerville we went at it just about every lap. Was a lot of fun but there was no1 able to break away either.
So we finish 18 and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice

my 2cents lol
back couple years ago like people have said racing seemed to be cleaner but lets think about this for a min y was that we didnt have tracks that were multi groove that kept everyone bunched up we had one lane tracks that help seperate the good drivers from the bad. one lane tracks the good drivers would get away and have some seperation now with the multi kinda like shock said u dont get the separation to have room so all it takes is a mistake just like when nascar goes from big track to small track wtf happens they have more drama so my ? is do we need to go back to one lane tracks seems like some people were happier that way
we all get dumped from time to time shit happens but thing is people get bad about it then its up to these leagues to call the people out and keep them honest to keep it fun simple as that i dare anyone to find another dirt track game that has as good of racing as dtr2
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience

Last night for example though, you say you shouldnt race each other that hard but to me its kinda unrealistic to think guys in posititons 2 thru 6th should lineup single file and chase down mcgee. But you have played this game way more than i have and i think you know what your doing but imho, getting 5 guys to stay in line and not race each other is like telling Fas he cant get laid.

I want to clear something up about the last 2 races Rusty's won. I'm not sure where each race was at or for what league, but what ya'll say about him winning has really gotten on my nerves. The first race ya'll said he was lucky. He went from 8th up to 2nd to 1st. He might have been "lucky" getting from 2nd to 1st, but he sure as heck didn't get lucky getting up to 2nd. He's just as good (if not better) than a lot of you guys. He's fast and super-clean; not a common combination in DTR2. Now with this last race, everyone says the only reason he got so far ahead was b/c of ya'll battling behind him. Wheel will tell you, when all that got settled, he still kept losing ground on Rusty and ya'll were probably drafting behind him! Rusty was hitting his line every lap and was BAD FAST on his own! Stop making his wins look like they were lucky.

Maybe I'm being a little extra sensitive b/c I luv him so much, but I hate seeing his wins being "downgraded" because of all the excuses some of ya'll make. He's sitting here laughing at me saying it's not a big deal, but I think it is. Give credit where credit is due ... even if ya'll weren't battling, he probably would have won anyways!

McGee was DEFINITELY the fastest car at Terre 2k11, and I believe he was at Adams County, too, just didn't have the starting spot. Wheel wasn't catching him after he got by himself at Doit so that should tell you something
