So we finish 18 and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, 'Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know.' And he says, 'Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness.' So I got that goin' for me, which is nice

ray cook flipped his ride
word i got was that in the consi they thought he was draggin his brakes , cuz they were glowing
they changed his brakes and sent him out for the begining of the A on saturday night
what they missed was a cracked/split tube (on the chassis i assume) that also cut a brake line that caused the brakes to drag
the tube finally came back to bite him , and thats why he flipped on lap 12 to cause the caution before the rains came

heard it rained pretty hard too

heard davenport was quik on practice night , always near the top of the charts
qualified well , and then went wrong tires for the heat , thats why he slipped back , they said he wore out a 1 inch groove on the right rear cuz they picked wrong , he came back pretty nicely to finish 8th from the consi

in davenports consi also heard schlieper was tryin to run pretty hard gainst JD and ultimately did himself in and almost took the field with him

all this is what i heard from someone who was there
