Track conversion question 14 years 5 months ago #652

Hi, I wasn't sure to post this here or in general discussion, but how hard is it to convert a track from DTR/DTR:SC to DTR2? I noticed that there is a file for converting AI from the first 2 games. Thank you for any help

It's not very hard to convert them...but some of them your game will freeze if you play offline so it's a fine line. What are some tracks you would like converted? I know md23 converted a bunch over to dtr2...There's a couple things you gotta add to the track.str file in order to convert it to dtr2 (can't remember exactly the things right off) and a couple other things. I usually would just copy a dtr track and paste some folders from a dtr2 track over it (except for the textures folder and the graphst folder) and that usually helps, then you just have to add a couple of lines inside the track.str file of data...thanks for signing up for the site, and lemme know if you need anymore help with that.
