TOPIC:

The 2011 Heat Wave series schedule, a 12-race package of events from June through August, was announced today by XCR.

The schedule features a return to several tracks that had hosted XCR events last season. Included is a race at Georgetown, which is the season opener on June 12; Spindale will host a race once again this season on June 19th; a race at Brownstown 2k10 which will take place on July 3; and a race at WFO Thunderbird which is scheduled on July 24.

This is the first schedule solely picked by drivers. The champion, VLR_Shock, got two track choices, but got another track choice by winning the all star race in April. Drivers who finished 2nd through 10th in points each got a track choice completing the schedule.

Someone texted me and said something about a driver Hypershifting in the race and hit wall or spun or something, Anyone know anything?

Tony wasnt hypershifting...He was leading the race and his cast hit his shifter button in the corner and shifted him into neutral...He had the 4th or 5th fastest lap

Read the bolded, For all i knew it could have been anyone, not just hypershifting but went in hard and hit wall or pushed into, think a couple people assumed hypershifting right away...WEIRD..HUMMMMM

I deleted a couple of posts cuz this thread should only be used for results, news, congratulatory remarks or race discussion..not a fighting ring. Although this does make the series look entertaining.

Tony calling anybody terrible is funny, I know 3-5 people who quit dtr2 over his terrible driving, Ice, Karl or Jesus can stand up for him, hes a joke.On the hypershifting note, If he does i could careless.. He's never won an A main so i just laugh when he says I suck...and for why i X out of races Tony, Well if I aint gonna win, Why waste time, Id rather use it gettin' laid, drinkin, school, work, not 30 minutes a race I'm not going to win..

Every one of us had to start somewhere, none was a great dtr driver when we started, some learn faster than others.
since Tony has been back racing with us he has improved 100% and getting better all the time.
I appeciate the fact that he practice's hard. Say what you want but he has my respect for his dedication to the game.
I race with him every night he has never hypershifted and if he tried to in that race i would have liked to watched him shifting with his toes.
That was his race to lose, he will win one real soon count on it. If you watch the replay you will see and hear the shifting points.
