well last night was the first time, i couldnt figure out how to make my own server so me and geisler could race at eastbay raceway park, we ended up running fairbury, which sucked balls. i walled about 100 times, flipped a few or so times, rear end broke 10 times, spun out every corner, and wrecked some ppl, tho sometimes i could get r around the track 1 or twice goin fast lol, running the default setup blowed hard, me and geisler where running the dirt late models i almost got kicked and i didnt care for how they do yellow flags.. the cpu should controll are cars in line so no on gets another spot ... then some awesome dude sent me a setup, i didnt wall as much and i was much faster, geisler left cause he was gay, then i raced boone and went off the track a few times and piled the latemodel into the wall causing it to flip, also them tires at boone are deadly so watch out... the end

if anyone could help me out finding setups or sending me them for the dirt late model 1.4 it would be sweet! also tips for anything would be great !

Here's the best tip for rfactor. Go to the control panel on your computer and click on add/remove programs. Find rFactor and click uninstall. You will be very happy with the results.

This isn't a gay factor site , also if u mess with that game too much , you'll be in the way even more in DTR2 from what I.ve heard.

Your comment on Fairbury "which sucked balls" can be applied as a whole to the dirt part of the game in my experience

I hear the dirt late models are good but naturally I don't have the same version of them as everyone else even though I downloaded it from the right site minutes before and so I get kicked out. This happens almost every time I try to install something for that game.

well tonight me and geisler are gonna try the vhracing series with the cup cars and what not..

You really think you are gonna just jump right into online racing right away Dirtyracer29? Thats why I left go race offline for awhile and getta feel for the game. It was actually not as hard as I thought it would be, but you still need to run like a million practice laps so you car isnt going all over the place and you can actually a run a good line. You were just crashing everyone, thats why they wanted to ban you, I at least tried to stay out of the way

i tried to stay out of the way geisler... its when i was in 1st gear i always would get loose and try to recoop and i got ran over.. but il admit i did launch into some guy named boone he was flippin out and i was laughin my ass off...

You have to stay in second gear

it was auto shock.. when i got down low on rpm fkin thing shifted down on me..

Dirt, you gotta do into your settings in the game and turn auto shifting OFF, turn all the steering help and stability control and all that stuff OFF also...rFactor is not as bad as these guys are sayin they just didn't take the time to get good at it. Shock was good and Shock you gotta download the 1.4 version now they're a lot better. People act like just because someone races rFactor they're not allowed to talk about it on here or something, I race both its not like we're limited to one game and it don't affect me over here at all, if any thing, driving that game has made me faster over here cause I know how to run my car a lot smoother as far as the turns and stuff...Dirt when I get time we will get in a server and I will send you all my sets and rates and good stuff like that and get you squared away on there.

Now this all just popped into my head here, but what if we all went and started practicing Rfactor and that stuff by ourselves. The whole DTR2 community makes a temporary switch to there and we all get good or in some cases (most likely me) we just get good enough, Then by some miracle, we go in and we smoke everybody. Like just for a while, the big DTR2 guys are winning Rfactor races left and right. Maybe those guys would start thinking "Those DTR2 guys are on to something" and then they'd start racing here too and we end up with a crapload of drivers.


Just a thought.....Doubt it would work but its nice to dream isn't it?

Everybody who plays dtr2 has a damn good chance of winning league races over there. I have, Shock has, Wheel has...but I don't see the point in leaving dtr2 and going over there for a little while. Just do both but dedicate more of your time to this game since we do more league racin over here than over there

I didn't say stop DTR2 for a while, and if thats what it sounded like then its not what I meant. Keep everything we got going, and still go over and smoke them there. I mean, if I was racing and somebody came out of the blue and is leaving everybody in the dust, I'd want to know why and then try and use it myself.

here some more help with Suspension-Tuning

I think EVERYONE did go to rfactor for a minute, just cause they was talking so much chit! VLR_Shock and VLR_Wheel and BLS_F1 went over there and DOMINATED!!! BLS_F1 even came up with his own RFactor mod, called DTRFactor, everyone seen how much simpler and less distracting DTR2 was and decided to delete RFactor, alot of those guys came over here and ran up front a lil, but as you know VLR_Wheel DOMINATED AGAIN!! Trow VHRFactor out in the street and try some real hardcore racing in SCE ( www.stockcarevolution.com ) if you wanna run NASCAR! They are gettin all spruced up for Daytona week right now!!! It is the free and quick to the top version of IRacing! But if you ever wreck in front of someone in RFactor make sure you get to the pits quick and hold brake, becasue you have to hit esc then use your mouse to click go to monitor, which takes about 15 seconds, compared to 1 on DTR2. ASk Wheel bout that, he led 49/50 laps, and while he was coming to the finish line to win (in a big fast crowd) Shock and I got tangled up, I went to the infield and hit esc thinking I would come right out of the game, which let my car go up the track (while I was fumbling around trying to grab my mouse to click exit to monitor) which in turn ended up right in the middle of the backstretch while the leaders were coming. Wheel clipped my car and it cost him the race!!! I got YELLED at for not esc fast enough (not by Wheel, he was understanding) but by the WHOLE RFactor crowd!!! It is more realistic if you don't dissappear, in that you get to wheel it to get faster, but if you don't have THE BEST cpu graffix your gonna hate it. I only got 12 frames per second and had EVERYONE helping me to get it better, but when 9 or more cars were on the track, the game glitched so much it couldn't read my moves fast enough. If I was getting yelled at Dirt, I can imagine what will happin to you. If I was you, I would DELETE RFactor and try to run DTR2 without hitting ppl first!

we dont have to worry about me hitting ppl once i get a controller jsn ....
