I DO like College football, GO PURDUE!!!!! BUT I enjoy watching people that are getting paid to cremate someone!!! If you think that they are getting paid just as much to benchwarm your sadly mistaken. It's millions to thousands. If you get hurt in college you get to hit the books harder, if you get hurt in the NFL, your going to lose your wife, house, dog, kids, boat, vacation home. I ddon't really care for the college football system and the way the bowls are set up! At least in the NFL, the weakest team still has a fighting chance to win the SuperBowl. Ya you can say they play for the scouts, BUT there are VERY MANY college players that would LOVE to come take a pro starting spot, therefore the "pros" work very intense to keep their 35years+ body in shape to keep that spot from a 20something. College football is like AAA baseball, it's a stepping stone and everyone plays. I would rather watch Ray Lewis chase down a new college recruit and welcome him to the NFL!!!! Granted the NFL is going soft but at least they can still get up and run with the ball if they trip. College has the stupidist rules in the game of football, might as well be flag or touch football!!!! I'm all for the guys making the big money and the big hits!!! GO REDSKINS!!!!!

I beg to differ with ya Shock, Indiana has more college programs than any other state and we were NOTHING BUT COLLEGE until the Colts came here not too long ago. We do LOVE our college sports and I LOVE Purdue Baseball/Football/Basketball BUT the games are lame as hell compared to NFL, when someone dives for a catch and they can't get up and run, you might as well call that 2 hand touch! At least in the NFL they can get up and run. ALTHOUGH the NFL is getting VERY SOFT it is still way better than watching a 59-7 college game!!! Remember we had Bobby Knight,Indiana is a College Basketball State!!!

NFL is just retarded. It's a joke and Notre Dame sucks, too!! I don't see how people get into NFL it's all about money, sponsors, and making sure no one hits someone to hard and fining them.

And I love 59-7 games when it's my team delivering it to another team. The good teams are supposed to be good, and that's what makes it even more awesome in College FB when a little bitty school upsets one of these big SEC teams, it's awesome!! In NFL everyone is so close due to the draft that there aren't really any upsets. You don't have any Appalachian State over Michigan moments in the NFL. Yeah they may have been supposed to lose 59-7...but they went to a stadium with 107,000 and made the home crowd leave pissed as can be. College Football is the best!!!!!!!

I used to watch NFL football all the time and loved it but what the NFL has done as of late would be like making it so a race car isnt allowed to go over 70mph

I would say that the northeast is the part of the country that doesn't get crazy for college sports. I've grown up a Husker fan all my life and would agree with many others that the NFL is quite along ways behind college ball in awesomestness.
