Wow tornado sirens just went off here and we're under a tornado warning. I got video of it, it's a weird sound.

Tornado's as well as all super cells or any thunderstorms happen during and are even created by low pressure.One way you can tell if the bad weather is really close is the drop in pressure.It will cause the curtians on your windows to suck up against the glass and can even make your ears pop.Houses and other dwellings dont collapse during low pressure events like tornadoes they actually explode outwards.Just a heads up for ya Shock and the rest of you in the path of this nasty weather what you might expect if a low pressure event is taking place in your near vicinity.Ya'll keep your heads down n stay safe we got ya'll in our prayers here.Its supose to be here late tonight but I'm hoping it'll fizzle out by then.

We were just issued a severe thunderstorm warning till 8:15pm,looks like a 70 mph wind n hail event w/lots of lightning according to the NWS. May not make the XOR event here in a few but am gonna try.Seems like everytime the wind comes barreling down this hollow the power goes out so I may get disconected.

these storms did nothing but a little bit of hail and some rain in nashville

I think the damage from this storm is two days before the one you're talking about Jon. We actually had some big hail last night that woke me up at 3am and it wasn't supposed to rain or anything but it turned the yard white. The pics I added yesterday are from another road near where I work that I didn't know the tornado went through till I drove through there the other day because I noticed some trees down in the distance.
