Ok there my DTR2 family..We have heard of the worst, best, cleanest ,fastest and we know its the same names the guys that been on this game forever!
How about the most IMPROVED Driver.. Give us rookies something to either fell good about or something we could look at to change.. Top 10 guys o ya and MAMA T

I dont think any of the rookies are worth a damn!! HAHA just kidding. I dont know if i can rank them as of right now cause Im not real sure who all is considered a rookie right now. Get me a list of drivers and ill put on here what i think.

Well Ice I think just guys that have improved...Doesnt have to a rookie and the reason you think he is were he is..Rain JJ ICE KARL Shock these arent the ones... More like Me, J mac, xcrt91 those kind of drivers on game for under 5yrs

Well Tony I can tell youve made a great effort to improve. Your getting alot faster and cleaner. The only thing I would say is that during a long race if a guy catches you and passes you (not at the end of the race) dont try to drive back under them. I still do this. If someone catches me early in a race Ill usually just let them go and try to follow them and either learn their line or keep up in the draft.

Ive raced with J-Mac 1 time and I can tell his primary thing is being clean. That is how you want to be and the speed will come.

The BLS guys are coming into their own. Starting to win some races and if they stick with it they will be right back at the top

1. BLS_Stephen33--> Used to be somewhat "average" speed wise, but this season when he raced VLR he was sitting third in points after the second or third race and then hasn't showed up since, but he went from a B mainer to a winning contender in no time. Really fast in the sprints as well.

2. BLS_42--> Went from BW42 to BLS_42 and has just steadily gotten faster and faster to become a top 10 driver on the game. One of the best driving/personality combo's in Dirt Track Racing 2.

3. IFRT_Jim--> Started racing league races and instantly showed that he could run with the best. He's been gradually climbing up the ranks and contending for wins. Probably would have had at least one by now if I didn't take him out

4. BLS_34--> Started out as Spridal and then joined XRT. Never talked a lot on vent, just ran the races and left usually so not a lot of people knew who he was. He's been getting better and better and hopefully will start winning a lot of races soon.

5. Doit 49--> Has gotten faster and cleaner over time, but still has some learning to do about when to battle and when to let others go who are faster. Once he does this and gets more respect of others the sky is the limit.

6. XCR_b58--> Bullet has been running great lately, even contending for wins. Usually a start and park driver, he's picked up his game with the resurgence of XCR and is running in the top 5 a lot.

7. ERL_Goat--> Another one who got really good in a short period of time. He was "average" and then just flat beat me at Battleground one night at ERL and it just seems like he's fast everywhere now and getting faster.

8. ERL_Turbo--> Turbo has seemed to be getting faster as well as of late, making features and bringing home decent finishes. He will continue to climb if he can keep up the pace.

9. BLS_Jason/XCR_Rocket--> I believe Rocket came back to dtr2 faster than when he left, so that's awesome. Jason has been picking up some wins here of late and making more features. We'll see if that continues.

10. IFRT_14--> Has had some decent runs this year just seems like bad luck takes over at times and if he can get over that hump he will start getting some good finishes.

Honorable Mentions: Squirrel (When he's not drinking he runs great) and J-MAC (I still haven't race with him a lot but he should keep climbing the list). Sorry if I forgot anyone.

This is a list that I should be be on somewhere. Not saying on top, 8th-10th would be good. Especially since I came in thinking I could win with default setup. And I've made quite a few A mains as well. I was maybe a tenth off at BLS last night. Computer lagged......

Just saying you haven't raced enough to be "improved" yet. You're basically laying the foundation for what your improvement will be judged from after you have raced a while.

Alright, I'm racing again tonight. Giving manual another try. Ran that instead of auto for the feature last night and could of kept up if it wasn't for the lag. I get in the dust kicked up by the car in front of me and it lags like hell. Its awful. I was closing in, get in the dust and have to drop back over half a second. I know I'm not the cleanest driver, I gotta work on that alot. I bump and bang alot and don't like it. I hate seeing my car smashed up.

Would I still be considered a rookie?

How many full series and seasons have you completed. We'll do this NASCARs way instead of asking how many wins you have.

To be honest I haven't finished a whole season yet but the TXR Season 6 will change that, I'm not eligible to run the rookies series so dont worry Jmac but you can run it. Even though I haven't finished a season I think I've won too many league races to be considered a rookie. I was just messin when I asked if I was considered one. Lol

I know. I thought you had a championship somewhere way back before I started racing. I ran a race in that first Rookie Series Rowdy had going. Then I was the only one that showed up the next race. Maybe I can win Rookie of the year (or series....whatever he wants to call it) in season 6. Unless I steal a win between now and then that makes me inelligeable for Rookie honors. If I can get out front and keep it straight then I'm hard to get by. Hopin for win number 1 real soon. I want it baaaaad.

Nope, I haven't had a series champion spot yet. I've won championship races but haven't held the points champion spot on here yet. I'm gonna compete a whole season for VLR or one of these teams sooner or later when my schedule is a little more steady. Til then I will continue to make my random appearances lol. I do know that there is a Rodeo race coming up for VLR from what I heard so I will be at that one, gotta try my luck against the big boys that night!
