Yes, we need a day or two to calm down before I can unbleep it
Shocks an undercover communist. He has to keep his precious little thumb on DTR 2. He is worried that everyone will leave for better games, and if that happens, Shock will no longer be able to win because he sucks so miserably at everything else. This may only be censoring Jr., but just wait, soon he will censor the word Rfackter as he sees people leave to race the best dirt game EVER.
I played DLM yesterday and was pretttty fast. I was a tenth off the leader though, but not bad for my first try at that track. They say it's realistic but all I did to hit my best laps was burp the throttle halfway down the straightaway and then floor it the rest of the way. The car is as sideways on the straight as it is in the corners
For one you're on a controller, so you would have no clue what realistic feels like, unless you have driven a real life late model with a controller????? Second, have you ever drivin a real life Late Model, Sprint Car, or Modified????? You can't define REALISM until you first know what realism would feel like. I have driven a real modified on a real dirt track and the Dirt Modifeds are within the limits of the virtual world, very close. I'm not bashing DTR 2, I enjoyed it for a long time. From a racing standpoint it's very good, it just no longer suits my sim racing desires. DTR 2 with the exception of the exaggerated toe offset feels somewhat comparable to a stock car, however with the suspension innovations on the modifieds and late models, there is no comparison. The only thing I would have to say with the DM and DLM is they ride the suspension to much, and you don't really have a feel of a sliding tire. Overall though, for the game they are modded from, and the virtual world limitations, the DLM and DM are the most realistic game option out there.
DTR 2 is a fun racing game, and AREFAKTOR is directed more towards a simulation. To each their own, I'm not intending to make a one is better then the other argument.
