VLR FAST 10'S ARE BACK

VLR Fast 10's are BACK (2023)! Click here to view! Simply join 74.91.122.77:32263 IP in DTR2 and set the laps to 10 in default late models for your time to show up!

To get the game to work online, simply download RivaTuner Statistics Server and click the + sign to add dtr2.exe and then set the frame rate to be 120FPS!

Hi guys,
Did anybody create an exclusive Sprint Car Racing Series for DTR2? If so could somebody point me in the right direction? I've looked thru the DL section but nothing popped out at me as a Sprint Car Series. (I just love those winged Sprint Cars. ;) )

OK, thanks. I've got it. Found a few 'help' files in the DL section thanks to a few of your suggestions.
I created my own Sprint Car Series I call, Sprint Car Mania, and am in the process of tweaking it a bit as we speak.

some tipes when u start racing if its on dtr2 game u can incress purse or decrease can uup laps to 99? 100 but think 99 all game runs lol anyways if u starte career u can not add more series to it or ur have restart over, u can incress ai strangth or add or delit names there is a way hide some till later ask if u wanna learn how

OK, will do.

I've created three series events. Each one wins you more money and cost more to enter.
First one is a 4 track series.
Second one is a 6 track series.
Third one is a 10 track series.
Although, I may add more tracks such as, 4, 8, 16 or something like that anyway

I have all the DTRSC skins if you want those to add into your series to fill out the 60 slots. You need a name and a skin for all 60 if you do a medium sized field, only 47 of the 60 if you go large. I can tell you which number driver slots aren't used in a large field if needed.
A main wins: 151*'

B main wins: 50

C main wins: 5

D main wins: 1

Dash wins: 133

Heat race wins: 339***

Championships: 15*

Ok here they are. the default DTRSC skins (including outlaws and the 4 I made since I started playing DTRSC again) and also the car font # files that go with the default cars.

You will have to go in and rename each one though as they're set for DTRSC. So in the STR file you have to change things, and the texture files have to all be renamed 256texture or they won't work in DTR2.

you can use something like advanced renamer to rename all the files to save you tons of time ;)

Hi all,
Got a question... The number of cars for all my races is only 8. Is there a way to increase this number of cars before a series race?
16 cars or so would be a nice line up. Can this be done for a series?

if u have set on easy then only gives u 8 cars set it to simulation what ever hardest setting is. also # events in ratbag games is 40 (str number 39)
1c u start racing u cant add more or take any events out though you can change track names

Oh, yes, I forgot about that menu/screen. :laugh: I changed it and I am now coming in last most every race. Even with my Orange Bomb :laugh: :lol: : :laugh:

Got another question,
Now that I have 60 renamed texture files, where do I get the 60 sprint cars??? Yikes! :woohoo: I've only been able to find about a dozen. Do I have to clone about 50 more cars???

Make each driver in the series.str have the car as each folder name in the zip that J-Mac gave you

I have 60 skins. I was asking about 60 cars.

Anyway this idea is now trashed cuz there is no winning animations or trophies or anything for the Sprintcar Class. If you do well, the game will crash to the desk top. :(

Cool Shock.. never knew that... I have not, was living/working in PHX,AZ .... Did you go to this Race, World Championships... any year ? Heard it was so packed.... porta-pottys turned over, cause there was not enough............. so fricken hot, at this weekend, miserable... stories from my family.......
