Same here! And I think weather.com is broken because suddenly it's saying a 100% chance of rain tonight randomly out of nowhere and no other weather forecasts are calling for it. I hope they are right and it's not a glitch because we need it bad!!! Day 2 of shattering the all time record high temperature here. I'm going to a demo derby tonight so that should be fun considering it was still 99 degrees on the bank last night at 8pm
when I went to the store.

So we were 105 degrees here around this time two years ago! Well, last night we broke a record low on the 4th of July because it got down to 46 degrees last night! Brrrr. Cold fireworks watching for sure.

As a few know, Crossville, TN gets a lot of snow at times. It snows every winter but snowfall is only counted for accumulated snow. There are lots of times the ground temp is 33*-35* & it will snow hard for an entire day but not really accumulate so a half foot could fall but no accumulation other than some on grassy areas so it's always nice to see it snow there. They also get more snowfall than weather reports are willing to admit because they try to keep people from Atlanta that rarely see snow from making the five hour drive up to see snow.

Crossville gets more snow than any other City in TN under 4 thousand feet. Above 4500 feet lots of snow falls. In fact, TN has a mountain, I forgot name of it but the height of it & angle, direction is so that it is the Southern most point to get actual Lake Effect snows off the Great Lakes. Few know this fact. New Found Gap gets about 65" of snow per year & is one mile high but this mountain in question is passed that area. Newfound Gap is a lookout area open a lot in winter because it has the main road from TN to NC but to the right at Clingman's Dome, that is closed from Oct-April because of so much snow & ice is very dangerous. Northerners get snowed in & freeze to death each year in those mountains because they come down from New England thinking TN is mild in winter when TN is anything but mild. Even Chattanooga where I once lived has a humid bone chilling cold & it too gets more snow than what it reports for metro area. Airport doesn't get too much but again, they don't want people racing up to see snow since is dangerous for those not used to driving in it. Chattanooga got 40" in most metro areas last winter. Crossville got more. That one mountain gets over 20 FEET per year!!

I still like Rochester, NY more. We get 100", four seasons & a mild summer unlike the hot summers in TN but you need to make at least 100k per year to live in a good area since other areas are higher crime so the salary of an RN not being much would put one in a poor area. I make over 500k but I run a corporation & work long hours & still don't make that million a year other CEO's make so not really fair but is life.

Lake Effect snow fricking sucks. I gotta shovel it basically twice a week every morning and by the time you're done, you gotta do it again. Not to mention It's dense as hell.

Goldfish where in Ohio are you from? I was at Raceway 7 most of my life every Friday & during the week. Our neighbor who was more of a grandfather owned the track until recently.

My dad used to work for him. I lived right next to the track back then. Hatches Corners road. I was always afraid of him back then. Always chewing on the cigars and not smoking them.

4th of July Weekend he quit on the white flag rather than the checkered lmao. Anyway, if you go out there, watch the hell out for Max Blair/Chad Wright. They will have no problem taking you out to win. I'll have to come out and see you guys run, when are you thinking you will race?

Actually the Blair's are friends of ours lol - Max used to be wild but he's not really anymore - by far the most talented driver in the area though - he's gonna have a great career & Rob is the cleanest driver to race. Remember Max is only 22.
