How do you get a dtr2 default track to start with?

go to C:\Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2\mods. Copy "extractPF.exe" to the Dirt Track Racing 2 Folder: C:\Games\Infogrames\Dirt Track Racing 2.

Then drag min.pf, data.pf & store.pf files form that folder into the "extractPF.exe" file, (open with that .exe)

A command prompt will run for about 5 mins or so, then The default tracks and car files should now appear in the tracks/cars folder.

Yeah but you'll have to download the .de2 files for the default tracks here on VLR I think in the editing corner.

Do you normally start with a default track or do you just pick a addon and start from there?

When I first started I usually started with add ons... but now I always start with a default track. That way all the objects are still there and it's not been customized any yet.I move all the objects that aren't attached ot anything off to the side of the track. Then I resize reshape re bank the track and surroundings however I want. Whenever I'm done with that I start moving the objects back in where I want them or where they go in real life and go form there.

Well I have posted on some thread these cleaned up .3dm files that have all the objects already moved off to the side and all you have to do is make changes to the track and then move them back in where you want them when you're done.

Followed the first video step by step, downloaded the Rhino from the first post and I managed to get the track into .raw and then hit the dilemma of Rhino won't open a .raw file.....what did I do wrong? It will only allow me to import .3dm or .rws

I think there are plugins you can enable in Rhino to allow you to do this. Under Tools>Plugin Manager. And then go to installed plugins (not loaded) and load some that say raw...

So I wanted to see how my track looked so far, but Excel is being a dick. I'll have you look for yourself.

Straight roads are for fast cars, curvy roads are for fast drivers.

I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do in the picture...Try copying the first three rows again in the right window and then drag your mouse over "D,E,F" on the left side and press CTRL+V to paste over it. Then go from there...

No Excel is being Excel. It only does what you tell it to do. So if it is being a dick you might wanna try a different language lol

That's what I did, and that's what it said.
