Xtreme Octane Racing is ready to kick off season 3.  This season we are making the switch over to the BLS Superstock Chassis.   The big topic of the season is, can wheel do it again.  VLR Wheel has won both of the first 2 seasons of XOR. Season 1 in the Gen 3’s and season 2 in the TnL’s.

Can he do it now in the BLS Superstocks?  One person that will be trying to stop the 3 peat is VLR Shock.  We got an interview with Mr. Weaver and we asked him.

“Howard which tracks do you think that you have the best chance at winning on this season?”

He replied. “Well, it looks like a great schedule. Just from what I see I honestly think we should be in the top three every week. I've won league races at PDR, Lowes, Brownstown, Farmer City, and Florence and I've came close at a lot of the others. I think it's a great schedule and I can see myself in victory lane a lot this year.”

We also asked him, ”Who do you believe will have a breakout season?”

He answered. “I believe BLS Zombie will have a breakout season.  He has been making all the A-Mains lately it seems like. He's been doing good at VLR and that’s where I’ve got to see him mostly and I think he'll step it up get some top fives and maybe sneak into the winners circle. Also Blaze will have a breakout year but I don't know if that applies to him because he's already running up front.”

Shock will be making his 1st full time effort at XOR this season.  Be sure to watch him as we all know he will be up front running for a win every single night.

Another driver shooting to knock VLR Wheel off his pedestal is BLS Flyer.  Joe finished 3rd last season in the TnL’s.   It wasn’t a great season for him last season.  “We got caught up in a lot of wrecks and traffic last season.  Had to come through the B-Main quite a bit.  This season will hopefully be a little different.  I will be shooting for the front and the championship."

2 WFO drivers that have committed to running the full schedule are WFO Rain and Sidebite.  Both drivers are very confident.  Rain said that he knows he can run for a championship this season.  He finished 2nd in points last season.  But you can bet he will be shooting for that 1st XOR championship.

We asked him what tracks do you think that you have the best chances of winning on?  He replies, “All of them.”  We asked Sidebite.  How good do you think your chances of winning the championship this season are?  He told us I think I have as good a chance as anyone else.  There are a lot of new tracks that most people haven’t run and this is a new chassis.  It will be interesting.”  This season will be one of the most exciting seasons yet.  There are a lot of great drivers.  A lot of up and comers also.

So come out October 14, 2010 at 8 Est.  Be in Vent at 7:55 Est.  Opening night will be an all new Talladega Short Track that hasn't been released as of this posting.  The BLS Superstocks are available for download on www.teamvlr.com.
