Local driver XCR_Orso shows his domination of Fairbury Speedway once again by backing up his Spring Fling win with another huge win over 20+ cars tonight at VLR!

The Illinois driver started 7th and worked his way up to 4th before a caution halfway through the 60 lap race bunched the field up to make for a late race thriller. VLR_JW shot back out front on the restart followed by VLR_Gage, who passed former second place runner ICE_KingGinger on the restart. Then Orso began making his move by taking over second from Gage with twenty to go.

All hell broke loose in turn 4 with 18 to go as Orso made slight contact with JW which broke the #70 machine loose and then he was plowed by teammate Gage which shot JW up the track and out of the lead. JW then was hit by a couple more cars and his night was over.

Orso went on to cruise to victory while the runner-up from the Spring Fling, VLR_Momper, once again made a great move to avoid the JW crash and held off VLR_Gage to take third at the stripe. VLR_Shock went on to cross the line first.

Points leader BLS_18 had engine failure and finished dead last in the A Main and lost his points lead to the eventual race winner, Orso. VLR_Shock now sits second in points, just three out of the lead.

Next week the stars and cars of the VLR series move on to the Orange County Fair Speedway for some more great action. We've had two first time winners at VLR in the last two weeks, will another underdog grab his first win this week? Stay tuned!
