VLR_Shock takes the checkers in ErL’s opening Monday Madness event.  In an effort to give everyone a place to race hard and have fun, ErL_Team elected to open an “all welcome” race for points every Monday night.

VLR_Shock, a last minute entry, missed the heat races and had to qualify through the B Main.  VLR_Shock came from the back of the B Main and won, qualifying for the A Main Feature event.  VLR_Shock, BLKJAK, and Goat had a three wide battle through lap traffic for the win with VLR_Shock leading the charge across the finish line.

VLR_Shock finishes the race with an astounding 40 lap race time of 9:16.81.  Leading second place BLKJAK by only .28 of a second with his total 40 lap time of 9:17.19, and Goat’s 40 lap time of 9:17.56.  You could have thrown a blanket over the top 3 in the last laps of the race.

SPINOUT had fast qualifying time and earns an extra 10 points for the Monday Madness series, but was unable to stay for the feature event.

Congratulations to VLR_Shock for his win at Monday Madness at the Grove!  And congrats to all who came to race, the whole event was a success.  See you next week for 40 laps at Brownstown speedway.
