cold and snowy like it is every other November in NY state

It is warmer than it was this day last year, though! Was 0 degrees on January 6th at lunch time last year with -20 wind chill.

So, just a couple days after this ice storm, we had another, far worse one. Now, we've been out of electricity since 6:55am Saturday morning, and it'll probably be several more days since poles are littering the landscape. I know you're a spam bot but great thread bump. Typical October weather here right now. Actually pretty warm the last few days, around 80 degrees, but a cool down this weekend into the low 60s for highs.

Got a little windy here in Kokomo this past Wednesday, 165 mph or so. Was packing up heading to the track for the Bryan Clausen Celebration of Life when all of a sudden a tree (not a leaf or a limb) but a freaking tree went flying into our house, yard, cars, and whatever else it could hit as it was flying like a kite. So we decided to all take a bathroom break. While in there, I guess my pipes were mad at us cause they started screaming at us, and the house sounded like a lion, roaring and crashing and breaking all that it could, then it got real quiet, and just as fast as it got quiet, the weirdest thing, it sounded like a damn train was hooting and hollering saying, "Move bitch, get out the way", so all our trees got out the way! Other than that little bit of wind, weather's nice, got lots of toothpicks now and plenty of firewood!
