VLR FAST 10'S ARE BACK

VLR Fast 10's are BACK (2023)! Click here to view! Simply join 74.91.122.77:32263 IP in DTR2 and set the laps to 10 in default late models for your time to show up!

To get the game to work online, simply download RivaTuner Statistics Server and click the + sign to add dtr2.exe and then set the frame rate to be 120FPS!

peanut Topic Author Offline Late Model Posts: 195 Karma: 1 Thank you received: 8	i have made some progress with 8.1...i havent tried it on win 10 yet. i had an old vid card that i put betta drivers in it ( no drivers for it from nvidia for win 8 or 10 )but it would only last for a few days before something would happen (unstable). i would like to post a video to see if the other players are having the same problem as me . peanut

download the latest version of asus gpu tweak (2.8.3.0).
it states that gpu tweak will work with most graphics cards.
www.asus.com/support/Download/9/13/0/3/41/
once you have it installed go to settings/tune and make sure there is a check beside everything,
make sure you click apply.
under tuning, start turning your memory clock (MHz) toward the min then click apply.
just a few points at a time then try the game online.
be careful with these settings as I froze my pc up a couple times.

I know its very early in using it. but you might want to get players to try it on vista and 7 to see if it stops some of the errors. I haven't had a disconnect or error yet on 8 or 10. peanut

peanut Topic Author Offline Late Model Posts: 195 Karma: 1 Thank you received: 8	update i added the tyler county track earlier to win 8.1 and got three of the key track wetness errors in about 5 mins and then started getting the direct 3d8 errors and couldnt fix it. had to uninstall and reinstall the game and no time to check it , if i get to run later ill try the track on win 10 .

I quit trying to get win 8.1 to work, it seems no matter what its a problem. I went from win xp pc to win 8.1 so you could try this on other operating systems to see if it helps with some of the errors.

peanut Topic Author Offline Late Model Posts: 195 Karma: 1 Thank you received: 8	I thought I should add this ( the problem I had with win 10 ) for those who like to tweak their operating system to get the most out of it. there is a setting where you can set your pc to run at, performance,appearence or let windows choose and custom. i set it to performance and caused problems for dtr2 online so i put it to appearance and its doing fine.
